Amanda D’Archangelis is an actress, composer, and performer working in New York City. She is a New York native who graduated from The Boston Conservatory in 2014 with a B.F.A. in Musical Theater and a concentration in songwriting. Amanda is currently in the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop.

In school, along with performing in several productions, she was given the opportunity to write incidental music for several plays, including Necessary TargetsVieux Carré, and Alice in War, all plays performed on The Mainstage at The Boston Conservatory. After moving back to New York, Amanda has done a variety of shows in the city and around the country. As an actress, Amanda toured with the TheatreworksUSA production of Fly Guy and Other Stories. Back in the city, her cabaret “In The Grey: My Life In The Middlewas performed at both The West End Lounge and Feinstein’s/54 Below. With her writing partner Anderson Cook, she has written two musicals; The Disembodied Hand That Fisted Everyone to Death- The Musical! and Blatantly BlaineThe Disembodied Handwas produced at the PIT, the Reckless Theatre, and the Boston Conservatory. Blatantly Blaine was produced at the PIT, and listed as "Best Things to See This Week" by Time Out NY. 

Amanda has written and performed the music for Bluelaces Theater Company’s debut New York show, Out There! Bluelaces is a company which produces theater for audiences with developmental differences. She has performed a concert of her music called “Strange Cookie” at Feinstein’s/54 Below. Her music has been performed by The Boston Gay Men's Chorus, featured in the Musematch series at 54 Below, and in the NYMF song cycle, Outliers. Outside of the stage, Amanda has written the theme songs for two web series, Queer Kid Stuff and Social Media Police. When she’s not tickling the ivories and writing silly tunes, she can be heard as the voice of Tate on Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc V (Nicktoons), or auditioning around this great city.
